hair

so, i am not a hair stylist or makeup artist, but to my sisters i am their personal hair stylist and makeup artist. for the wedding i am in charge of meagan's hair and makeup, she told me this early on so i've been practicing and thinking about it a lot.

people have a list of questions they ask a bride. when they get to hair and makeup, meagan is like "caitlin is doing it!" and then people look at me like oh okay that's nice. just a note on these questions, people are annoying and rude things to brides (and family), like "oh why are you doing things that way, that's weird." um thanks.

so, here is my portfolio. it consists of 3 dances and the same person. mccall.

this was mormon prom '09. i did the hair and makeup and wore the dress to my junior prom


me and mccall side by side. i was super into this awkward almost engagement ring hand pose. so mostly i am really proud i picked a dress that was cute 4 years after i wore it. mom those 100 dresses i tried on paid off.

this is maybe the best pic of prom '09 hair. she went with her bf zach. mccall was planning on having someone do her hair for homecoming '10 but that didn't work out so i was there to fill in.

meagan's hair is going to be a fusion of these hairstyles.
