word of the day WINNING
yes, yes the aztecs did it! they over came that other team and obliterated them. the score was 72-54! i was also thrilled because i got to watch the 2nd half of the game! i don't have tv at my house or friends who would be happy about me cheering for my alma mater. i do have one friend and alliance member who said ya come over, so i did and we watched the aztecs win their second straight MWC tournament championship. they were all on fire! leonard, gay, white, thomas and the rest of the guys! you rock! at one point my friend asked me if i was crying i was so happy...it was sort of embarrassing but i wasn't crying so it was all good.
the aztecs had a close call in semis when we scraped by unlv 74-72. i was at the movies (i saw battle los angeles and loved it) following it on my phone. it was an intense movie so i was all tense about that and the close game. in the end, everything worked out swell in the movie and on the court.
i got my mountain west conference champions (we were co champs in case you are confused) shirt on thursday and i just ordered my mountain west conference tournament champions shirt right this second!! aren't they cute!
